Call to Worship
Psalm 67

May God be gracious to us

and bless us and make his face to shine upon us that your

way may be known on earth,

your saving power among all nations.

Let the peoples praise you, O God;

let all the peoples praise you!

Let the nations be glad and sing for joy,

for you judge the peoples with equity

and guide the nations upon earth.

Let the peoples praise you, O God;

let all the peoples praise you!

The earth has yielded its increase;

God, our God, shall bless us.

God shall bless us;

let all the ends of the earth fear him!

Lament
Psalm 130:1-2

(This reading consists of multiple recitations of Psalm 130:1- 2, interspersed with calls to silent prayer)

Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord!

O Lord, hear my voice!

Let your ears be attentive

to the voice of my pleas for mercy!

God, we cry out for a world that is beset by fear and

uncertainty be attentive to our cries!

[Silent prayer]

Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord!

O Lord, hear my voice!

Let your ears be attentive

to the voice of my pleas for mercy!

God, we cry out for those who are ill, those who are dying,

those who are mourning, and those who are afraid be

attentive to our cries!

[Silent prayer]

Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord!

O Lord, hear my voice!

Let your ears be attentive

to the voice of my pleas for mercy!

God, we cry out for Your light to shine upon us in these

dark, strange times be attentive to our cries!

[Silent prayer]

Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord!

O Lord, hear my voice!

Let your ears be attentive

to the voice of my pleas for mercy!

Amen.

Assurance
Psalm 130:3-8

If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities,
    O Lord, who could stand?
But with you there is forgiveness,
    that you may be feared.

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
    and in his word I hope;
my soul waits for the Lord
    more than watchmen for the morning,
    more than watchmen for the morning.

O Israel, hope in the Lord!
    For with the Lord there is steadfast love,
    and with him is plentiful redemption.
And he will redeem Israel
    from all his iniquities.

Offering Prayer

Note: Offering is a way for Christians to give thanks to God as an act of sacrificial worship. We're thankful for many who have asked how you may continue to give during this time. At this time, we encourage you to hold your offering until a future date. We are also setting up a way to give online. In the meantime, let us still pray.

St. Patrick's Breastplate

Let us read this prayer of St. Patrick; and we pray that as

we go out into the world, Christ would be with us.

May Christ be with us,

Christ before us,

Christ behind us,

Christ in us,

Christ beneath us,

Christ above us,

Christ on our right,

Christ on our left,

Christ when we lie down,

Christ when we sit down,

Christ when we arise,

Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of us,

Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of us,

Christ in every eye that sees us,

Christ in every ear that hears us.

May Christ be with us!

May Christ be before us!

May Christ be in us,

Christ be over all!

May Thy Salvation, Lord,

Always be ours,

This day, O Lord, and evermore.

Amen.

Doxology and Benediction

Praise Him all creatures here below

Praise Him above ye heavenly host

Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

Amen
